Ok I looked at the camera. So do you work with a company or are you just independent. The school Im looking at offers students to use the HVX 200 right away and Im excited to use it. What were the lenses you used?

which school are you looking at? i used Zeiss super speed lenses for the 35mm lenses (excellent) but that setup has some serious issues in working with it and although the HVX is nice...it is still a 1/3" chip so not as good as the 2/3" chips of the varicam or the HPX versions. The mother/daughter stuff was with the standard lens though...its just how you work with it that matters!

So I think this is the winner. sadly I wish it wasn't just because Mine is also on here. Mine is the one with the chalk board. But I had a question on the camera you used. Did you use film or does it take mini DV? I looked at the camera on the web but couldn't figure it out. thank you. -Adam

Hey man...thanks so much for the kind words. I shot the footage on both the HVX-200 (HD P2 camera from Panasonic) using 35mm lenses for some of the material and just the standard lens for others. Then I also got to use the RED ONE for a few of the shots (cars) as an experiment. I think the most critical thing in making the footage look good is the time of day and using the sun at the best possible moment for creating the best image :-)
